The Supreme Court is the highest court in our land. There are many courts that lead up to the Supreme Court. These state and federal courts may make all kinds of decisions, but if the Supreme Court decides to hear a case, it is irrelevant what other courts have decided. Only what the Supreme Court rules matters. All other courts, no matter how powerful, no matter what their judgment, is declared irrelevant and immaterial once the Supreme Court rules.
In life you will have many people pass judgment on you— strangers, friends, family members, or even yourself. If you are not careful, you will let those “lower courts” make decisions about your life. The court of public option may tell you that you are not smart enough to open that business or even to amount to anything. But some things need to be appealed to the “higher court” (Jeremiah 29:11). The court of money may say that you will never prosper, or the court of health may say the diagnosis is bad, and the prognosis is worse. But some things need to be appealed to the “higher court” (Philippians 4:19; 1 Peter 2:24). Do not let the lower courts rule about the things in your life. Take it to The Supreme Court. Actually, that is the only verdict that matters. When God takes your case, and He will ALWAYS take your case, the court of health, the court of money, the court of public option, or any other court, does not matter. All other court judgments become irrelevant. You can be assured today because God is sovereign, and He sits on the throne.
Understand that God has already ruled in your favor. God has designed you to win, for He has created you to be the head, not the tail. You were fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God. You are more than a conqueror and an heir to God’s Kingdom. For you are that living testimony, that lively stone (1 Peter 2:5), and that burning ember (Isaiah 6:7). For you are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), a vessel that carries the oil of God’s anointing. You have been uniquely made, different from every other person in the universe. Understand that as a child of God, you are the one Satan fears, and your destiny is what demons dread.
Please understand your family lineage. Your Heavenly Father is the creator of the universe, and your elder brother is the King of kings and the Lord of lords; your guide through this life is the Spirit of the Living God. Your name has been written down in glory, you have been bought with a price, and your destiny was purchased at Calvary, with your pardon being signed in blood.
You are who God says you are. The list above is just a small list of what God has said about you. You were created with purpose, to do a work for God and, with power, to accomplish what God has sent you to do.

Mindful of His Ways
